Make a stay
From the Family tab, choose which kids are going, and whether it's always or a rotation — every other week, 2-2-3, alternate weekends, whatever your calendar actually is. -
Send the code
The other house enters STAY-XXXX-XXXX at joinvoicebooks.com and matches each child to their profile there. No shared password, no second account for the kids. -
The voices follow the kids
The house the child is at hears every voice. The house they're away from hears only its own. The rotation decides which is which, in their time zone. -
End it any time
Either house can end a stay. Nothing is copied, so ending it simply stops the sharing — no recordings to chase down.

Any pattern of whole weeks
One to six weeks, any shape. The presets fill the grid; the grid is yours to change.
Each house chooses whose voices travel
Everyone's recordings go unless a house says otherwise. A new grown-up invited later travels too.
Shares back, if the host says so
The host house can send its own recordings home again, or keep them for the stay.
Never a shared login
Each house is its own family with its own grown-ups, PIN and plan. A stay is a link, not a key.
Listens still count
A book heard at Dad's is credited to the child's profile, and the artist is told, wherever they recorded it.
For grandparents and camp, too
"Always" is a rhythm. A stay with no end date is how Grandma's house becomes a second home for the stories.
Every other week she's at her dad's. Now every other week his phone has my recordings on it, and mine has his. She just hears both of us. Neither of us had to ask.
