Sound

A little music, under your voice

Fifteen gentle beds of music — three for each mood — composed for reading aloud and ducked under the words, so your voice always comes first. Choose one for a recording, or one for a whole evening.

Composed, not licensed

Music that was written to sit under a story

Every bed on the shelf was composed for Voicebooks — sleepy, cosy, brave, silly, wonder — and rendered by our own studio, so it's ours to give you. Each one loops without a seam and drops under your voice the moment you speak.

It's a texture, not a soundtrack. The words are always the loudest thing in the room.

  • Per recording: the artist chooses a bed on the sound sheet
  • Per playlist: one bed for the whole evening, overriding each book's
  • Off: a switch, for the nights that want silence

Voice Care

Your voice, cleaned up — or exactly as recorded

Every kept take gets a gentle clean-up: the hum of a hotel room taken out, the volume evened so a whisper and a roar sit at the same level. It's on by default and off with one switch, and the original take is never touched.

Questions about background music

We compose it. Every bed is an original score written for reading aloud and rendered by our own studio, so there's nothing to license and nothing that runs out.
No. The bed is ducked under the voice — it drops whenever there are words and comes back between them.
Yes, for a recording or for a playlist. Silence is a setting.
